Monitors and controls, from warehouse receiver or any other authorized source, all 5 Basic Materials receiving; resins in all pack presentations including bulk, paint/solvents, component parts and packaging .
Responsible for the appropriate storage of each material in their designated 5B warehouse areas ( components /paint warehouses, silos, shelfs or marked spaces) and maintains proper labeling, identification and receiving dates on all of them for easy visual control of inventories, easy reach and first in first out control (FIFO).
Verifies accurately, by provided measuring devices and techniques , that the quantities, part numbers and descriptions for the materials received into the warehouses/silos match receiving documentation.
Signs, Controls and keeps records of all materials received and confirms receiving confirmation documentation to Purchasing and Production Control as instructed.
Reports any inconsistency or apparent damage in the materials received, including its packaging , to Purchasing with documented evidences as appropriate (documents, records, pictures).
Coordinates the supply of 5B materials to production from the warehouses based on Production Control 's production requirements and keeps accurate records of the materials supplied to production.
Reviews and analyzes on hand 5B material inventory, plans and schedules materials replenishment based on materials demand, lead time and re-ordering policies provided by Production Control and Purchasing.
Prepares and writes 5B Material Requisitions.
Performs all inventory system data entry in real time and accurately for all materials transactions (in and out) to maintain the integrity and the accuracy of the materials inventories at all times.
Performs periodic physical counts to the materials inventories on hand in the warehouses as well as those in work in process in the production areas, including but not limited to daily silos measuring, special audits, scheduled cycle counts, weekly, monthly and annual inventory counts reports.
Follow company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Support and follow 5-S, Continuous Improvement and Safety programs.
Requires strong organizational & math skills.
Previous warehousing, inventory control experience preferable.
Basic computer skills for data entry, E-mail and Excel.
Forklift Operator Certification preferable.
 Experience/Education: College background in Business / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.  Or proven extensive experience in Materials Ordering Planning.
